The compact size is a winner for my apartment. I would keep the blade pieces together in a container so none get lost in the utensil drawer.
There's something satisfying about chopping up the veg without a noisy motor. Dinner prep feels a bit calmer, especially when the baby is asleep. Anything that keeps the noise down at that hour gets my vote.
